What is it about slime that get kids all excited? For some there is a relaxing factor to this slime craze, for others it’s science part that attracts them yet some find it just plain gross. As a parent I personally think it’s a great stress relieving tool for fidgety and anxious kiddos. My kids love to stretch it as big as they can and love the popping and squishy noises it makes.

Our daughter decided she wanted to make fluffy slime yesterday so out we went to gather the ingredients. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Ingredients used:

Elmer’s glue, shaving cream, contact solution, baking soda and food coloring. My daughter doesn’t have an exact recipe but she says you can start with 1/2 cup of glue and 1 1/4 cup of shaving cream mix well then squirt a little contact solution and a tiny sprinkle of baking soda and continue mixing. Repeat the contact solution and baking soda step until the slime does not stick to your hands. If you bought unscented shaving cream you can add a couple of drops of essential oils. We personally used Plant Therapy oil in our opinion they are the best here is a link: Click Here
