Have any of you wonderful folks out there tried the Once Again Nut Butter Amore Hazelnut Spread? If you haven’t you definitely should. It was our family’s first time trying it and wow were we surprised. We had only known of that major brand everyone knows you can guess which.
We were given the opportunity to review this hazelnut spread and from the moment we received our box we fell in love. As a mom of two middle schoolers we are always looking for tasty snacks they will actually enjoy and that are on the healthier side.
I learned that Once Again Amore Hazelnut spread is organic, fair trade certified, gluten free and Non-GMO Project Verified. The company is based out of upstate New York and has been making nut butters, seed butter, and honeys since 1976. This spread has no added artificial flavors, colors or hydrogenated oil and is also higher in fiber and protein and has fewer calories and less saturated fat than the leading brand.
So how did my family like this butter? We all approved. Once Again Hazelnut Spread did not disappoint. I love the natural taste it has. It has a little grit to it which I love. Our 13 year old daughter was eating it by the spoonful and truth be told I was doing the same because its so delicious.
The Once Again website has a great selection of recipes using their products at https://onceagainnutbutter.com/recipes/
We decided to try their parfait recipe using : 1/2 C greek yogurt and 1/2 C hazelnut spread mixed together and used layers of granola and strawberries to build the parfaits. They turned out delish.
Our Verdict is we loved it. We would use Once Again Hazelnut Spread over the current leading brand any day. What sold us is that it tastes so natural and that’s due to the awesome ingredients list of fair trade organic cane sugar, organic roasted hazelnut paste, organic skim milk powder, fair trade organic cocoa powder, organic sunflower seed oil and organic roasted peeled almond paste and that’s it folks.
Last I want to let you all know why Once Again has a Raccoon as their logo. Four baby Raccoons were found on their grounds and raised on organic nut butters then released back into the wild. So they created their logo in honor of those babies they raised. Give them a try I know you wont regret it.
